I love the kitty pics. I am involved in tnr feral cats and I care for over 150 a day and this past year my home burned down and I lost 16 of my pets, most were special needs pets. I still go strong now with trapping, transporting to and from the spay/neuter clinic and will never stop caring for the ferals. They need all the help they can get. This is what gives me my strength! It's a 7 day wk / 24 hr job without pay..The pymt for me is to help control the over population and to watch that skin and bone starved to death cat, come back to life and live a healthy and as normal life as possible.

The kitties are so cute, but as the humans in their lives, we need to be more responsible for cat & dog reproduction. I have had 3 shelter cats & a rescued dog. So many animals are destroyed every day because they can't find homes to adopt them. I have a nephew who worked at an animal shelter,& had to put down animals all the time. He's an animal lover & this was a painful task to have to do. PLEASE HUMANS....show your pets TRUE LOVE & get them spaded & neutered ASAP!!!!!!!! This message can save a life. Luv a pet. Spay & neuter. ADOPT! Ellen please spread the word. Love you.

o.mi.god! They are totally adorable. I wish my spouse and I were physically able enough to foster kittens for adoption here where I live in south, central Ontario. I believe people volunteer to play with the animals and/or foster them. Other than having to "euthanize" them (kill with a needle) I'm not sure if they're a "no-kill shelter. I'm a total animal advocate and donated some old blankets even though I have reason to believe that if the shelter beomes overcrowded, what do they do with those animals? My town is TOO small to be able to build a sanctuary like the one in the U.S. that Ellen has talked about on her show.

Bet you can't tell what my comment is about?! I rescued three cats and love them all. We live in a retirement building,a two room apartment! I take them into the hall at night to exercise them and the other tenants seem to enjoy them when they see them. The manager works for the Humane Society and she has been effective in allowing me to keep these cats. When I learn to scan in photos I will send you photos of these cats that would otherwise been hit on the many highways that surround our town. The last cat had a sore on it's tummy when we found it. It was around Halloween and it looked like a car cigarette lighter had done the damage. She is a gorgeous cat. Persian I think and Black with siver undercoat! Please warn people to keep there pets in on Halloween!

they are so precious, if I didn't have more than I am supposed to I would love to adopt one of the babies, anyway I don't think finding homes for them will be a problem. I love my kitties, they make me mad sometimes, but they put a smile on my face everyday
