Dearest Ellen, I am recovering from knee replacement surgery. Whoa ... baby it hurts! However it has allowed me to watch your show...on time....every morning while I am recovering. I am dying laughing each morning as you enter my home with your guests and kindness. Now the biggest news.....I received a phone call that I was chosen for tickets to be in your audience in April! It is my gift to myself celebrating my recovery. Cannot wait. My friend Cindy and I can't believe we will be there in Los Angelos with you and your wonderful show. Yippee! Can't wait! I may not be able to walk well, but I will be dancing! See you soon!

XOXO Pd: meet you could be the best thing that happens in my entire life, sorry for my English
Hi again Ellen, I wrote to you the other other day. I was trying to express my feelings about your show and you (the version of you the public gets to see) but I didn't really feel like I got across what I wanted to say. So here goes take two... I have had a bit of bad luck over the past 5 days and today I was feeling particularly sorry for myself. Well, I turned on your show and among the guests on today were two teenage boys and their mothers. You had them on your show because one of the boys passed the ball to the opposing team's players ( the other boy on the show) who is developmentally challenged to give him the chance to make a basket in the final moments of a close high school basketball game. A truly wonderful story which of course had me crying like I usually do at some point while watching your show. Thank you for the reminder of what's really important. My bad luck was put into perspective and I needed the reminder! Laurie

Dear Ellen, Is Tony married? I love the way he laughs when you make fun of him. Please don't tell me he has a girlfriend or a boyfriend. I hope I can make it to your show when I am in LA this summer. Thank you for being who you are and making me laugh every day. I have been laid off in 2010, and am diligently working to find a job (40 interviews and counting)... hope to see you soon. Charlotte
Hi Ellen, I am in middle school and I just wanted to let you know that you are the light of my day, I love to come home to watch you! You are so funny and light hearted, I really hope my heart is as good as yours when I grow up! Thank you!
Hi Ellen: I'm one of your many fans. I'm excited for you for your trip to Australia coming up. That is a once in a lifetime trip for the guests you are bringing with you. Very lucky people! I am amazed at how generous, funny, and down to earth you are. How do you gain all the popularity and notoriety and stay normal? Fans and celebrities alike admire and respect you. I think you are extremely cool! I'm glad you are happy and that your life seems to be blessed. I hope you feel the love we all have for you. It's rare to find a genuinely nice person who gives back to others. I watch your show almost every day and know that I will be entertained and by the end of the show I will also want to be a better person. Even my husband watches your show. I wish I had a story that could get me invited to your show but my life is pretty average. Anyways, I wish you all the best and maybe one day I'll find my way to California to catch one of your shows.

Hi Ellen, I am trying to submit my friend, Drue Robinson as a person in need of your help. I tried on the site provided, but am not sure I did it right, so I'm sending an email to you as well. Drue is the owner/operator of The Bellingham Childrens Theatre up here which is in financial trouble. We are doing all we can to keep her studio doors open but she struggles every month to pay the rent. Drue is a treasure, she's writer and director of some awesome silly stuff like The Whutcracker, The Slug Who Stole Solstice and many more. She's a wonderful teacher, her acting students from ages 8 - 19 go on to careers in the theatre. She also has a group of young girls called "Girls Inc." a place where girls can freely explore their feelings, they write monologues which are performed in schools and other venues around town. We need Drue, we can't let her go under, so I'm writing to you in hopes that your generosity can reach this wonderful lady. Thank you, Joan Prinz
