Saddest Sleigh Ride

Rita R. from Morganville, New Jersey sent in this photo of Charlie, Danika and Jake posing for a holiday photo. Rita writes that she was hoping to start a tradition. Maybe this photo will turn out better next year.

They are very funny and cute. The families that sent them in obviously have a great sense of humor, maybe the rest of you can adopt the same holiday spirit!

I see families with Holiday affection for each other. I applaud the family with all the dogs as those dogs are all willing to stay still long enough for the shot. The families that submitted the photos may be embarrassed by them for whatever reason. That's a personal problem with there own selves. As one who knows no one in any of the pictures I see people that took a moment out of their lives to be together and make the moment last. It may not be the style of the person that submitted the photo now, but it was the style of their family the day the picture got taken. And they are part of that family forever.

i actually think everyone in an oversized box, under the tree was good. i know a few famlies with kids that just might copy the idea. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.

I'm wondering what makes a photo a bad photo? I did see a couyple odd photo but really didn't see a bad photo these are a family's memories. There all special!

I just have to add that the picture of the family in the present box under the Christmas tree is absolutely brilliant! That's the coolest idea! Thank you all for sharing. This has really brightened my day!

Happy families in matched sweaters do not make me cringe. As for the hairstyles, well, when the pictures were made these hairstyles were acceptable. There were a couple of underwear-type pictures that were tasteless. The rest were...the way it was.

Why do they all wear the same outfit?! That's just silly!

One thing I've noticed, when looking at old photos from the 60s-80s, is the men and women look very much alike. Women were very androgynous, and the men were just as bad behind funky mustaches and bad hair, though the women's hair is just as bad.

The common theme seems to be really bad sweaters and Christmas outfits. Otherwise, the photos aren't all that bad . . . I must be mean, cuz' I love the ones where the kids are bawling, priceless!

Most were adorable, some funny, a couple makles you wonder! Looks like some of my family kids pictures in the 80's. I did enjoy them all.
