Saddest Sleigh Ride

Rita R. from Morganville, New Jersey sent in this photo of Charlie, Danika and Jake posing for a holiday photo. Rita writes that she was hoping to start a tradition. Maybe this photo will turn out better next year.

Some of these are just plain weird. But if you look most are old photo's the haircuts are so 50/60's and make everyone look weird. They are so out of style which does not help. Bad sweaters are just another perfect part of Christmas. I think we have all owned one at one time or another. Enjoy and laugh, that is what Christmas is meant to be blessings and good times.

What's so bad about these pictures? They serve as memories and A reminder of how times have changed. That's all.

I saw this bad holiday photo contest and have sent in numerous 4th of July pics, Labor Day pics, Veterans Day pics, Easter pics, Thanksgiving pics, Martin Luther King Jr. day pics, Presidents Day pics, etc, and none of them have been used. Most of them are funnier than these too! Looks like the only holiday pice they are using are Christmas pics. Why don't they specify a little more than to just say holiday pics?

The very first image is from Ellen Degeneres show and she asked Ellen if she could have that shirt. It's a joke, so WHY is this a bad holiday photo?

I guess cute and family oriented, funny gestures are not part of todays society anymore. Maybe a drunken guy holding a gun and a bag of cocaine, promoting violence while a naked hooker sits on santa lap wouldve been better. Un real how someone can say these are bad photos truly mind bogling!

#s 3,4,13,and 19 are just cute as a button !! the crying photo (#31)especially. 18 is from the 70s--looks strange now, but that was within the norm at the time.

Most of these aren't that bad. Only a couple actually made me cringe. So what if people wear matching clothes or holiday sweaters? It's not my cup of tea, but it's hardly the holiday faux pas that the headline suggests. Live and let live people.

It's stupid to make fun of fashions from the past, taking cheap pot-shots at them.... some are "better" than others it's obvious but today's stuff is hardly any better--anyway, time periods are unique and that's part of what makes them interesting......
