Send us your bad Santa photos!
If a child is frightened of Santa (or the Easter Bunny, or whatever), the parent should be kind enough to forego the photo op, and comfort the child. There is just no excuse for forcing children to sit on a stranger's lap when the children are terrified, and have no understanding of what's going on. Store Santas should be instructed to refuse todo photos with crying children--for the sake of the kids.

What kind of sick person takes amusement from terrified children? You shove a child into the lap of an oddly dressed stranger who yells at them, and then think it's funny when they scream in terror?

These photos are funny. Do all who do not think so, don't look, and don't comment. :)

I fail to see the humor in these photos. Those kids were at the least very unhappy with the situation or at the greatest, terrified. They were obviously not ready for the event. I would say give them a chance to grow into the idea; don't force it on them.

And @marie yes there are true Christians out there, but they are hard to find some of them, that is their lives were recorded around 2000 years ago, and sometimes it seemed that there weren't any, and sometimes there might not have been any, but the books that had been around for thousands of years kept getting translated through the years, and there were a few, who although they still believed many lies, that had the books that contained the truth and every now and then someone would discover it, and if they were brave enough to stand up for it, some people would belive em' and some would hate em'... But its all about doing your research, and not worshiping tradition, but honoring truth.

I have never understood why a parent would force a child to sit on Santa's lap, to have them scared and actually take a photo of it. If the child does not feel comfortable and it's not necessary then don't force them and certainly don't laugh about it. It is strange to teach children it's funny when people are scared and unhappy?

We teach our children not to trust strangers, and then what do some parents do? Walk up and plop them in the lap of a stranger.

I play Santa for the holidays and am amazed at parents who force screaming children to sit on my lap. I often have to tell them no and they still insist. Once I feel a child squirm, I let the child go. I do think some Santas will hold a child against the child's will and Santas can be scary because we do have outlandish features and small children don't understand Santa yet.

Santa looks very pedophillic in that photo.
