Not Ready to Say Goodbye
Fiona K. from Trenton, Ontario sent in this photo of Stella, her 10-week-old kitten! We couldn’t resist one more photo like this before we get rid of our trees.

Love the pictures. My cats, when younger, loved to climb in the tree. I got a toggle hook and placed it in the ceiling where I always put the Christmas tree. When the season arrived I would make a large bow that was hung from the toggle hook. Tied to the top of the tree and extra ribbons to make it look beautiful hanging down. No one knew unless I told them. Of course a green plant from the hook for the rest of the year.

I have two cats, Jade Johanna, and Jasper Monroe Greenfield. Jade has been really good staying out of the live tree, but Jasper, being the little kitty, (not so little, he is about 18lbs and he's only 8 months old) He has a problem listening to mommy and daddy, and he's not afraid of the squirt bottle!! We also have one of those 1 gal. water container for all of the pets, I also have Jasmine, she is a shiituz(?) Maltese mix, adorable!! That Jasper will not leave alone, (the water container) it's always tipped over when we get up, I think it's the bubbles. Anyway how do you keep a cat out of the tree?? Ellen if anyone would know you would!! Thanks! the Parent/Greenfield family

I really enjoyed the photos, I'm a little sad they are not all real photos as I prefered these ones. I think you could have a game find the cat in the picture like where is Charlie on one of your Christmas show next year. Have a great holiday, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. I really enjoy your show, it is something new to me to watch tv during the day but the weather has been awful and I did not have much to do so I'm glad I found your show. You know how retired people always have lots to do... All the best in the New Year.

I am writting for cause i know what a great person you are. and help alot of people. thee person I am asking help for a co-worker. She is a nice lady she is She wont ask for helpfor herself, cuz she's a proud person. And believes God will take care of her family.Sometime he need a few angels to help. I see from your show you are one of those angels. But she needs a need heater in her house. Her old one is to old to fix. She lives in WallaWalla Washington where it has been so cold. She has small space heaters but is limited to a few rooms just to keep warm. The heaters are causing problems now with the power breakers cuz the arent designed for the constant use of the space heaters. Her roof needs some repair also. If you could help my friend that would be the best Christmas ever. Thank you for all your great shows.

Dear Ellen , I am writing to you about my Sister Rita. In 1979 she buried her baby son Marc , he was 4 months old. Over the next few years they had 4 more boys which then gave them a total of 5 boys living . Daniel, Matthew , Luke , John and Lance. In October of 2011 her husband passed away with a heart attack and then in Febuary 2012 her 26 year old son Luke passed away with cancer. She is having a really difficult time trying to cope especially around this time of the year . She is also having a hard time financially and driving a really old car. She lives in the country and not close to any stores or hospitals , I worry so much about her. I know if she could even get a phone call from you it would make her day .I would like to thank you for your show , I watch it every day . Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all..... Carol Ann

Hi Ellen!! I enjoy watching your show every day, I find myself laughing out loud constantly. You are such a generous person; It is truly inspiring to see the lengths you will go to make another person's life easier or simply brighten one's day. Of course my favorite part of the show is when you dance us into the episode.. I've been looking for your CD only to be told it is not being sold here in Canada.. Now that Target has arrived, can your Canadian fans request a couple CDs be sent this way :) :) Continue to be wonderful. God has a special place for special people such as yourself. Merry Christmas!

Hi Ellen, I wanted to send you a photo of my adorable at Minino. He was a street Siamese cat that one day randomly showed up in my front door to give us love and change our life forever! He was extremely sweet, fun and loving. Sadly he passed away February 2013 with a gun shot that made him bleed to death :( We think it was our neighbors because Minino and other cats would open holes and poop, then cover the hole but the neighbors always blamed him because he lived more outdoors that in our home. It would make me so happy and you would be so sweet if you would post his last Christmas photo this Christmas along with the other adorable cat photos :) In Mininos Memory. His photo is posted in my facebook. I hope and pray you will like it and post it! xoxo Roxana Martinez

Love your show. All I want is prayers for my son, Jim who is going through a difficult time with cancer. He is an animal lover. He and his wife have two great danes named Brandy and Baby Girl. They are the sweetest dogs in the whole world. Thank you for always being such a kind soul and bringing happiness to the whole world! Merry Christmas

This is for Barbara Genoesi, the closer to your house to feed the cat, the closer it gets to watching you and learns to gain trust. Talking to him, he will learn your voice. A cat will decide when that trust is there, open the door once in a while; once you have him close and talk to him. Toss a treat low to him, only he will decide when its time to come inside. I feed 24 friendly feral cats, they hang out on my deck. Times that a couple want to come in, but I can't I have 5 inside. In time, the cat will come to you and slowly pet him, name him, he will get it.
