I love the valentines day photos!!! I especially love that I saw lots of Pit Bulls being shown as family dogs, because they are!!! Its not the dog, its the owner. I wish more people posted their furry friends so everyone can get over the BS bad rep they have. Happy valentines day everyone, hope your surrounded by people you love!!

Children that grow up with dogs tend to have stronger immune systems, so let them lick away.

Aww! I wish I had known about this, I have TONS of pictures of my daughter and our dogs, my friends dogs, my friends cats, my friends lizards, etc... lol, the list goes on. My daughter's first word (aside from Mama) was dog-dog, and that was no surprise. She is such an animal lover! Our dogs are nervous of the thunder and living in FL it thunders everyday in the summer so when they start shaking she hugs them and gives them tons of kisses, it is so cute! And then whenever she takes a nap my dogs cuddle up right next to her and take their own little nap!

That is so cute. The dog is so casual and the little girl just gives him such a sweet little kiss.

I love dogs and sometimes I like to talk to them as if they are humans. I just love the scene.

" LOVE IS LOVE WITHOUT BOUNDARY " I really adore this lovely pic. Don't we ever realize ..No matter where we are and what we do, life is at risk at every moment ?? .. so why worry ???

My mom's a vet tech, I'm a pet-sitter, and I live on a farm. Whoever said these animals are displaying inaffectionate behavior has clearly never owned a pet. As for the germs? You realize there are thousands of bacteria crawling all over you right now, yes? Some good, some bad. You got them from all sorts of places. The public restroom you used several hours ago. The McDonald's you stopped at to eat dinner. The hotel room you recently slept in. Honestly, I'd be a whole lot more worried about those situations than the family pet that lives in the same environment you do.

SOO SWEET! People who think dogs hurt children intentionally are CRAZY! I have 3 pitbulls and let me tell you. BLAME BAD OWNERS for making the breed have a bad name. Never has one of my dogs ever hurt anyone! They are the sweetest most loving dogs. Sorry Angie Delgo you must have never been a dog or animal owner. Also my dad breeds and sells dogs and no one has been killed by there dog little lone bitten.

I have no problem with any potential germs transmitted between the dog and toddler - people have to understand most germs are beneficial to good health. Most health professionals now believe introducing a baby to pet dander, germs, etc. is beneficial to a baby's health for their entire life. As for a bite potential - the dogs body language suggest he/she is very accepting of the toddler so close and kissing him. New parents should be a bit cautious at first with bringing in a new baby to a household where a dog may have been their first baby - showering both with love is all ya need.
