Friends made us aware that Ellen showed a Group of Kern County Firefighters on her show. We watch (DVD the show when not home), but an system alert cut into this part of our telecast. We were wondering how we might get a copy, either digital or picture, of what was shown, you see, our son is one of the Firefighters shown from Kern County Fire Department. Tried to insert the picture with no luck, what friends sent us is highly pixelated. Picture shows Ellen sitting in her chair with 16 Kern County Firefights and a Lady on a screen behind her. @Ann After I read your comment I downloaded "Accidental Racist". Did we listen to the same song? He doesn't equate owning slaves with wearing a do rag. He equated it with wearing something with a confederate flag on it. The message is quite simple: Don't judge a book by it's cover. A confederate flag on a white person's clothes doesn't always mean they are racist & gold chains & do rags on an African American doesn't always mean they are criminals.

Hi Ellen, obviously I love you and (up until now) everything you do, but why are you supporting that "Accidental Racist" song? You said that people don't understand it, and then you said "that's great" after Brad Paisley told you about it, and I'm fairly shocked. A lot of us understand the song as being about someone who is "just a white man" feeling like he is being persecuted for the past and is upset that he can't wear a Confederate flag shirt that represents fighting to keep slavery alive. Then LL Cool J comes in and somehow they try to equate forgiving someone for wearing gold chains and do-rags with forgiving someone for fighting to own your great-grandparents like farm animals. It's a really racist song, and it really bothers me that you seem to support this message. Why did you do that?

hi ellen im like your #1 fan and even though i'm only 9 i would even be happy wait i mean like bestly awesomely exited to even sit in the way back row i wonder what u smell like like maybe rainbows? so i like got this like san fran space needle lego set and on the box it said something like about taking a survey online and 1 question asked what lego arcatecher building would be like cool and i said the foshay and the ellen tv studio and my dad said the ellen studio would not be a hit and i was all like whoa and like oh my g i love you! and like is there a letter limit but yeah so bye ellen. Always have loved the Ellen Show and your so upbeat, that you bring my spirits up even when I have had a bad day.I have 4 children and 10 grand-kids. My health has also deteriorated in the past couple of years to where I'm now on oxygen and need both my hips replaced.Because of this, I'm on disability and have very expensive health insurance (Cobra).I had been a Nurse for the past 42 years and I get kind of antsy just sitting around my home. With my health being like it is,this year might be my last Mothers Day. Please give me a makeover as I do not look good for any camera. Thanks! Hope to be seeing you soon...
