I thought all the children looked adorable...lol I especially liked the little fajita baby...my kids dress up every year and have done so since they were born..there is nothing wrong about it..Halloween is once a year people..let them be what they want to be, I mean so what..I have three children and I let them decide what they want to be for Halloween. My 7 year old is a white ninja, my 3 year old is Thomas the train, and my 2 year of is belle from beauty and the beast..then my children ask me, "momma what you dress like?", so I dress up every year with my kids, and we just go and have fun...that's all it's about for them is fun..
It is not *ridiculous* to dress little kids up in costumes. Not all kids are afraid of costumes or Halloween in general. My son *loves* Halloween. He is 2 1/2 and he picked out his skeleton costume at the store all by himself a week or so ago. Last year he was Winnie the Pooh. My son left his headpiece/hat thing on the whole time- even while sorting and picking his 2 candies to eat. He has done nothing but talk about Halloween and his costume all month. He "plays" trick-or-treat with his sister and their pumpkin buckets.
And for the seriously outdated picture of the beer and smokes... notice how I sad "outdated." Just because they are dressed like that does NOT mean the parents are alcoholics or smoke ten packs a day. Get a grip and grow up, these people were trying to be funny - not stupid.
The pirate ship is great, I bet she gets an awesome candy haul! Kudos to her parents for taking the time and effort to make their daughter a great costume!

@Me: Regarding picture #5, my guess would be that his name is Conner and the spelling is intentional and meant to be a play on words.
