My aunt used has a photo just like this one I actually like it, but it might have something to do with the fact that I have loved that photo since I was 3.

Thanks for the laugh because just about every picture was cringe worthy. I have never seen that much teased hair in one place before in my short life. The sad part is that they all thought they looked hot. Yeah more like a hot mess. The pictures that made me laugh the hardest are the ones where the women have their heads tilted back in a sultry pose. You can't pull off something you're not. My mom had pictures take during that same time period but at least she had enough since to practice her pose so that it was more natural and she made certain to avoid that dated look. You can't tell when her pictures were taken and that's the look she was going for especially when people assume that the pictures are of me.

I for one would not have the guts to send some of these pictures in. I think I must be better looking than I thoght. Har

Blame the 80’s...

Ok some of these were pretty good and some were down right yikes... but after 20 years i bet the people who are in them are laughing at the pictures themselves.. i mean come on we all have photos that we can say oh man and laugh our butts off... that's what makes a memory good or bad...that's what makes us all human and we can laugh at the story of why it was done years down the road.

. As for bashing a decade like the 80s is foolish, any type of life and prosperity before the 1990s which was a prelude to social demise needs to be praised, lets examine some facts 1. In the 1980s inflation was still managable meaning no matter what the hourly fedaral mininum wage was it still met the growing economy 2. You could literly walk into a gas station, mcdonalds, or large retail chain and get hire on the spot no bull @!?$# or red tape in the way. now a days you need a college essay, a long list of referances, 4 pages of personal info, and clean credit to just get a job at mcdonalds! 3. Employers werent forced to put you on a tax pay roll nor provide health care. meaning so called unions did not have the power to dictate labor policys.

What's wrong with you? Art never goes out of style. Maybe the fashion did, but the art doesn't. Do you make fun of glam photos from the 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's or 70's? NO. Those were pictures of the styles of that era. Why do you have to cut it up? That is what is awful!
